Disinfection Services
Impact Cleaning Professionals Standard
Disinfection services and electrostatic spraying have become increasingly important tools in the fight against germs and viruses in commercial spaces. As a commercial cleaning service, it’s important to understand the benefits and limitations of these methods in order to effectively and safely serve our customers.
Disinfection refers to the process of eliminating harmful microorganisms on surfaces and in the air. This is typically done using chemical disinfectants, which are applied using a variety of methods. The most effective disinfectants are able to kill a broad spectrum of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, and are typically labeled as “hospital grade” or “EPA-registered.”
Electrostatic Spraying
Electrostatic spraying is a method of applying disinfectant using an electrically charged mist. The mist is attracted to surfaces and wraps around them, ensuring even coverage and reducing the amount of disinfectant needed. This method is particularly effective for hard-to-reach areas and complex geometries.
One of the main benefits of electrostatic spraying is that it allows for quick and efficient disinfection of large areas. However, it’s important to note that electrostatic spraying is not a substitute for proper cleaning. Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt and debris before applying disinfectant, as the electrostatic mist will not remove these contaminants.
In addition to considering the effectiveness and efficiency of disinfection methods, it’s important to also consider the safety of the products being used. Chemical disinfectants can be harsh and potentially harmful to humans, which is why our technicians are trained in proper use of disinfectants.
